If your central heating system is loosing pressure on a regular basis the expansion vessel may need recharging, or the vessel may of failed and need replacing (please watch the video on how to test an expansion vessel). The expansion vessel can be recharged using a suitable foot pump as used on a car tyre.

 

 

How to re-charge an expansion vessel. This is often necessary if the expansion vessel has lost it's charge.g.
